Dueling Pianos

Cameron Hinton and Anita Kennedy formed the Central Alberta Dueling Pianos (CADP) in 2015. They have been bringing the best live music to central Alberta for over a decade. With a passion for music and the desire to entertain and create unforgettable experiences for others, CADP came alive with their first gig in November 2015. Although Cam and Anita both play solo and sometimes with other pianists, the two have played numerous events together.

Cam and Anita love to give back to the community when the event is a fundraiser, donating all song request tips back to the fundraiser event. They have raised money for firefighters' new life pack, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Team Jigger and many more fundraisers. 

Cameron Hinton started playing the piano at the age of five in Christchurch, New Zealand. Cam is classically trained in piano and has been playing piano in many festivals and concerts for several years. In addition, Cam has been teaching music/band programs in the public school system for the past 13 years. Cam starting entertaining as a “dueling pianist” in 2017 in the central Alberta region, where he regularly plays at bars/clubs (Red Piano West Ed, International Beer Haus) and for private functions and dueling shows across western Canada.

Cam’s favourite artists include Elton John and Billy Joel, however his horizons have expanded to include many other genres including Rock, Country and Hip Hop!
